To the rightchoice05: I am really very sorry you are quitting your blog. I hope you check your blog long enough to see this comment. I came to the same conclusion you did. I've been called so many names by the liberals, and because of you I've done a better job of attempting to reason rationally with them, and I don't call them names. I am hoping to indulge in intelligent discussion with liberals on my blog, and have invited them to it in order to try to understand their point of view. The post has been there for three days and not one liberal has taken me up on it yet. Perhaps they haven't seen the post, or perhaps it's not any fun if they can't be rude; I don't know which is the truth of it!

You are intelligent enough to understand that whatever you post, someone out there is going to be abusive. I wish it wouldn't cause you to give up and leave. You are obviously a very thoughtful person, and I was very happy to find your post and to read your beautiful essay on Affirmative Action. I pray that you will change your mind.

Blessings to you in all your endeavors, whatever you decide. It does look like your mind is made up... I truly wish it wasn't!

You know, for a while, I thought how you did. I was aggrivated, thought these people would never get it. I thought it was pointless. I was tired of being abused. But I got a comment on my site that said whatever I do dont stop posting, because people will eventually grow up and realize that just maybe they were wrong. This comment gave me hope and now whenever I am on the virge of giving up, I just say to myself: just keep posting.

Please rethink your decision. If you do this you are letting them win.

I would like to reach my hand across the figurative aisle and kindly ask you not to give up blogging. We need voices on all sides. There are angry people on both sides but you're part of the solution by trying to create a forum for discussion.
